Where Churchill Meadows is
Wikipedia’s article on the neighbourhood (not an official source) puts its edges at Highway 407 to the west, Britannia Road to the north, Winston Churchill Boulevard to the east and Highway 403 to the south. TRREB reports Churchill Meadows as one of its Mississauga communities, and its map places it west of Central Erin Mills and Erin Mills.
The same article says urban design guidelines issued in 1997 called for a variety of housing types, parks, schools, stormwater ponds and a grid of streets, and that most of the building happened between 1997 and 2001, with infill after that.
West of Ninth Line, the strip up to Highway 407 is what the City calls the Ninth Line neighbourhood: about 350 hectares between the Highway 401 and 407 interchange to the north and Highway 403 to the south. When the City’s planning committee endorsed a land use plan for it in June 2018, the City described the area as mostly undeveloped at the time.

Schools
School assignment goes by street address. Before you rely on any school below, check the exact address with the Peel District School Board’s School Finder and with the Peel Region “Which School do I Attend?” tool, which the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board links for families and which covers both boards.
The PDSB’s 2025–26 Directions guide groups these public schools in its Stephen Lewis family: Artesian Drive (3325 Artesian Drive), Churchill Meadows (3310 McDowell Drive), McKinnon (3270 Tacc Drive) and Oscar Peterson (5120 Perennial Drive) public schools for Kindergarten to Grade 5; Erin Centre Middle School (3240 Erin Centre Boulevard) and Ruth Thompson Middle School (5605 Freshwater Drive) for Grades 6 to 8; and Stephen Lewis Secondary School (3675 Thomas Street). Artesian Drive, Oscar Peterson and Erin Centre list French Immersion.
The same guide lists four Catholic schools alongside that family: St. Bernard of Clairvaux (3345 Escada Drive), St. Faustina (3420 McDowell Drive) and St. Sebastian (3460 Aquinas Avenue), each JK to Grade 8, and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary School (3801 Thomas Street). Churchill Meadows Library, at the same address, serves as both a public branch and St. Joan of Arc’s school library.
Community centre and parks
Churchill Meadows Community Centre and Mattamy Sports Park (5320 Ninth Line, north of Erin Centre Boulevard) was scheduled for its official opening on October 9, 2021. The 75,000 sq ft centre has a 25-metre, six-lane pool and a therapeutic pool, a triple gym, a multipurpose room with a teaching kitchen and an Active Living Studio.
The 57-acre sports park adds two lit artificial turf soccer fields (one under a seasonal dome), a playground, a spray pad, a skate park, a multi-purpose court, outdoor fitness equipment and trails. The City has posted a pool reopening notice on the centre’s page, so check it before planning a swim.
Getting around
MiWay Routes 9 Rathburn and 35 Eglinton both end at the Churchill Meadows Community Centre terminal and run every day. Route 9 heads east past Erin Mills Town Centre and Credit Valley Hospital to the City Centre Transit Terminal at Square One; Route 35 runs to Kipling Bus Terminal. On weekdays, Route 49A McDowell links Churchill Meadows Boulevard with Streetsville GO.
Winston Churchill Station, north-west of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Highway 403, is the western end of the Mississauga Transitway, a dedicated bus corridor with 12 stations. It has 300 free parking spaces and is served by Routes 36, 45, 45A, 109 and 135.
