Published · Data: TRREB Market Watch, September 2026 (released ) and Cornerstone Mississauga MLS® Statistical Report, September 2026 (released )

The short version

  • Mississauga sales were lower than a year earlier. TRREB counted 468 sales in September 2026, against 500 in September 2025, while new listings fell from 1,711 to 1,371 and month-end active listings from 2,727 to 2,408.
  • Prices were down year over year on TRREB’s main measures. The average fell 4.1% to $929,600, the median 1.2% to $868,000, and TRREB’s MLS® Home Price Index composite benchmark for Mississauga was down 3.80% at $867,500.
  • Detached sales rose to 196 from 186, though the detached average fell 6.9% to $1,285,467. Condo apartments, with 122 sales, saw the average fall 11.2% to $500,192 and the median 17.6% to $432,500.
  • Homes sold for 97% of their list price on average in both Septembers. The average listing spent 36 days on the market, against 33 a year earlier.
  • Year to date, sales were nearly level with 2025, at 4,127 against 4,120, while the year-to-date average price was 5.7% lower at $952,527.
  • Cornerstone Association of REALTORS®, whose members include REALTORS® in Mississauga, publishes its own monthly Mississauga report from CREA data. Its year-over-year changes and its MLS® HPI benchmarks are its own published figures: its composite benchmark was $903,600, down 6.4% from a year earlier and 1.1% from August. Its figures sit in a separate table below and are best read on their own. A single month is one reading, not a trend, and nothing here is a forecast.

The two boards publish separately. TRREB reports sales through its MLS® System by detailed home type; Cornerstone Association of REALTORS® publishes its own Mississauga figures from CREA data, with its own year-over-year changes and MLS® HPI benchmarks. Each table below names its board, and the two are never mixed in one figure.

MLS® Home Price Index benchmarks

The MLS® HPI benchmark estimates the price of a typical home of each type. It is a model, not an average of the homes that sold, so it will differ from the averages above.
