The short version
- Fewer homes sold in Milton than a year earlier. TRREB counted 118 sales in September 2026, down from 132 in September 2025, and new listings fell further, from 431 to 341.
- Prices were lower year over year on each of the main measures below. TRREB’s Milton average fell 1.7% to $1,018,973 and its median 3.9% to $917,500, and the MLS® Home Price Index composite benchmark was down 4.83%. On OMDREB’s count, the single-family average was down 2.6% and the townhouse and condo average down 5.4%.
- Detached homes were the exception on volume: TRREB recorded 63 detached sales, against 59 a year earlier, while the detached average and median fell 5.7% and 10.2%.
- On TRREB’s figures, homes sold for 96% of their list price on average, down from 98% a year earlier, and spent an average of 35 days on the market, against 33.
- Month to month, OMDREB reported Milton’s single-family sales up from 63 in August to 68, and the single-family average up 4.8%. One month is one data point, not a trend, and none of this is a forecast.

Against September 2025 (calculated from TRREB Market Watch): detached sales were 63 against 59 (+6.8%), the detached average fell 5.7% from $1,342,585 and the median 10.2% from $1,225,000. Att/row/townhouse sales were 33 against 36 (−8.3%), with the average down 6.5% from $840,219 and the median down 7.0% from $848,750.
Semi-detached, condo townhouse, condo apartment and link sales were 10 or fewer each, too few to read a price trend from.
